Desarrollar bajo un enfoque inter, multi y transdisciplinario investigaciones que ofrezcan evidencia de la relación bidireccional entre la periodontitis y enfermedades medicas de los individuos. Analizar el comportamiento microbiológico, inmunológico y factores de riesgo que intervienen en la patogénesis de la periodontitis que ofrezcan soluciones a la población.
